ARTIST AT WORK

I'll be selling mostly ceramics as well as some woodcuts, small watercolor paintings, and books at the West Craft Fest on Saturday, April 26 from 11-5pm. This event is at The Woodlands, 40th & Woodland in Philadelphia.

Red Earth Farm CSA

    In 2018 I purchased a 22-week CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) full share from Red Earth Farm in Kempton, Pennsylvania. Each week I kept all of the stems, leaves, peels, seeds, and any other vegetable matter that I didn't cook and consume and turned it into 10" x 10" sheets of paper. Each week's material yielded 2-4 sheets of paper. These are samples of those sheets.

    These are two woodcuts with chine-collé that are self portraits of me in my kitchen chopping and stirring vegetable matter for the RED EARTH FARM CSA project. These are meant to compliment the work and further engage viewers with my experience.
